SnapToast Terms of Service

1. Definitions
- Service Provider β SnapToast, based in Poland, email: hello@snaptoast.app.
- User (Administrator) β a person who creates an account and sets up an Event.
- Event β an occasion created in the service (e.g., wedding, birthday, corporate event) for which photos and other media are collected.
- Guest β a person participating in an Event who uploads photos, videos, or other content through the service without creating an account.
- Service β the SnapToast web application (Progressive Web App) available at snaptoast.app, enabling collection, browsing, and downloading of event photos.
2. Scope of Service
SnapToast is a SaaS (Software as a Service) application for collecting photos and multimedia from event participants. The service operates as a Progressive Web App (PWA) β no installation from the App Store or Google Play is required.
The Service allows Users to:
- Create Events and share them with Guests via QR code or link.
- Collect photos, videos, audio recordings, and text posts from Guests.
- Browse the photo gallery, moderate content, and manage the Event from the admin panel.
- Download all photos as a ZIP file.
- Use additional features: Live Wall, photo challenges, time capsule, photobook, TipJar, and more.
- Customize Event branding (logo, colors).
The Service Provider reserves the right to modify, expand, or limit the scope of the Service's features at any time, while honoring already purchased plans.
3. Accounts and Plans
To use the Service as an Administrator, you must create an account by providing an email address. Registration requires email verification.
Guests do not need to create an account β they are identified by a device fingerprint and an optional nickname.
Available plans:
- Starter (free) β 1 event, up to 50 photos, basic features (gallery, QR code, guest profiles, ZIP download, offline mode).
- Pro (149 PLN per event) β unlimited photos, full features (video, filters, Live Wall, challenges, time capsule, moderation, push notifications, and more).
Currently, during our launch promotion, all Pro features are available for free. The Service Provider will give advance notice before ending the promotion.
4. Payments and Refunds
Payments for the Pro plan are processed through Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1 certified). Available payment methods: BLIK, P24 bank transfers, credit/debit cards, PayPal, Klarna.
The Pro plan costs 149 PLN (tax included) per Event and is a one-time payment β not a subscription.
Refunds are available within 14 days of payment, provided the Event has not been actively used (i.e., no Guest has uploaded any photos). To request a refund, contact hello@snaptoast.app.
The TipJar (Digital Envelope) feature is powered by Stripe Connect Express. Guest donations are transferred to the Administrator's Stripe account (Connected Account). SnapToast charges a commission as displayed during feature activation.
Photobook orders are fulfilled by an external partner (Gelato) and are subject to separate delivery and refund terms.
5. User Content and Moderation
Users and Guests are fully responsible for all content uploaded to the service. By uploading materials, the User/Guest confirms they have the rights to publish them and that they do not infringe on any third-party rights.
The following content is prohibited:
- Content that violates the law, including child sexual abuse material, terrorist content, or hate speech.
- Content that infringes on copyrights or personal rights of third parties.
- Spam, phishing, or malicious software.
- Obscene or offensive content in the context of the Event.
Event Administrators can enable content moderation β in this case, uploaded materials require approval before appearing in the gallery. SnapToast also uses automated quality and safety analysis (AI scoring).
The Service Provider reserves the right to remove content that violates these Terms without prior notice.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
SnapToast processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR).

Data is stored on EU servers (database: Supabase, storage: Cloudflare R2, payments: Stripe, email: Resend). All providers hold appropriate security certifications (SOC2, PCI DSS).
7. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided on an "as is" basis. The Service Provider makes every effort to ensure the continuity and security of the Service, but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
The Service Provider is not liable for data loss resulting from force majeure, infrastructure provider failures (Supabase, Cloudflare, Stripe), or actions that violate these Terms.
The Service Provider is not liable for content uploaded by Users and Guests.
The Service Provider's maximum liability to the User is limited to the amount paid for the Pro plan for the given Event.
8. Termination and Data Deletion
You may delete your account at any time by contacting hello@snaptoast.app. Deleting your account will result in the removal of all associated Events and data.
The Service Provider may suspend or delete a User's account in the event of a Terms of Service violation.
Event data (photos, videos, posts) is stored for 12 months from the Event date. After this period, it will be automatically deleted. The User will receive an email notification 14 days before data deletion. Account deletion takes effect after a 14-day grace period from the date of the request β during this time, you can cancel the deletion in your account settings.
Guests may request deletion of their data by contacting the Event Administrator or the Service Provider directly.
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by Polish law. Matters not covered by these Terms are subject to the provisions of the Civil Code and the Act on Providing Services by Electronic Means.
Any disputes arising from the use of the Service shall be resolved by the court having jurisdiction over the Service Provider's registered office, subject to consumer rights to bring claims before the court having jurisdiction over their place of residence.
10. Final Provisions
The Service Provider reserves the right to amend these Terms. Users will be notified of significant changes by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms take effect on March 28, 2026.
